Pioneer Valley 24 Hour And Weekend Service

Our company takes customer care and after-hours service very seriously. We want you to know who we can and can not be of service to on nights and weekends. Since 1989 we have serviced thousands of people, yet our quantity of service personnel has has remained unchanged. As a result we must limit our availability to those who wish to either  A: Keep an ongoing maintenance agreement with our company, or B: Have a newly installed heating or cooling system.

Q&A

Q-Your company was out here last year repairing a zone problem (leak in my AC system, installed a water heater, etc), doesn't that mean you should come out whenever I need you?

A- For years the answer was "if we're able to- YES", but after so many years of servicing so many thousands of people, we can not make our staff work so many hours during nights and weekends when they need to be resting up for the next working day/week.

Q- Your company installed my new boiler three years ago, you're not able to come and fix the problem?

A- Today's systems need annual service. We have a maintenance agreement plan where we come to your home/place of business and tune up your heating/AC equipment. If you choose not to have this annual service performed it disables us from catching small things that pop up even on newly installed systems. For those who wish not to have annual service performed Wilson elects to service these customers during regular business hours.

Q- I though all HVAC companies worked nights and weekends?

No, because it eventually burns out their staff. Larger companies with more technicians have rotating beeper or 'on call' requirements, yet if the company is "that large" it's likely the 'on call' tech may not know your system (which may be fine if your hvac system is not complex). Smaller companies tend be more selective on who they service.

Answering Service:
Over the years we have had a few complaints with our answering service. Please bear in mind that these call takers at the answering service are not employees of our company; they may offer an unofficial comment on our availability or even what a repair may cost - please know they are only permitted to mention what the after-hours dispatch fee is.

Furnaces/Boilers

The comfort of your home during the winter months depends on how well you maintain your heating system. To ensure your furnace functions properly, it is important to perform annual maintenance. Here are some tips from Pioneer Valley Furnace Repair Contractors

Have your furnace inspected once a year for leaks in the heat exchanger, soot, rust, corroded contacts and proper operation.
Preventative maintenance is more cost effective than waiting for something to go wrong, so have both the heating and cooling unit checked annually. The many parts of a furnace all have to work properly for it to run efficiently.
Oil-fired furnaces need annual tune-ups. Pioneer Valley homeowners should have their gas-fired furnace cleaned every other year, or according to the manufacturer’s recommended guidelines.
