The new ENERYGY STAR Quality Installation guidelines help ensure that your equipment is properly installed to deliver comfort, dependability and efficiency.

When your equipment is installed to meet ENERGY STAR Quality Installation guidelines, you avoid installation problems that could reduce the life of your equipment. The ENERGY STAR Quality Installation Program is offered in Massachusetts and Rhode Island through COOL SMART.

Massachusetts Quality Installation Verification

Wilson is pleased to be one of the very few HVAC contractors in Western Massachusetts to offer the Quality Installation Verification program with the Honeywell Service Assistant. QIV is a COOL SMART way to ensure quality and energy savings!

The Quality Installation Verification (QIV) analysis checks for proper refrigerant charge and air flow of the central air conditioner or heat pump systems. A COOL SMART trained air-conditioning technician who works for the installing contractor tests the system while it's running and takes a series of measurements which are analyzed via computer. Within a few minutes the homeowner knows how their system is performing.
